Abstract

The SST k-ω DDES model has been used to study the influence of wing aspect ratio on passive stall control at low Reynolds number using sinusoidal leading edges. Both stalled and unstalled flow conditions were considered to analyze the effect of low Reynolds number corrections on the performance of the DDES model. It was concluded that major improve-ments to the foregoing correction are still required to deal with stalled flow conditions and two proposals have been investigated as well.
