This paper proposes a new impedance source network, called quadratic Δ -source network. The proposed network offers high voltage gain and continuous input current with a considerably low ripple. Also, both average and peak magnetizing currents are lower than that of the conventional Δ -source network, which lead to a lower core loss and a smaller core size of the magnetic element. The principles and performance analysis of the proposed network are presented and confirmed with simulation and experimental waveforms.
