Abstract
Astragalus memoriosus from the section Caraganella is described as a new species. The new species within the section Caraganella is characterized by having a tall habit ca.l00 ern, long peduncle and silvery stem. A. memoriosus differs from its relativeA. reshadianus in following characters: peduncle long, inflorescence ca. 8-12 em long (not 1.5-2 ern), calyx covered with appressed black and white hairs (not only white hairs) and pod glabrous (not hairy).
