Abstract
Energetic chocolates are one of the supplements that are welcomed by athletes in various disciplines. Energetic chocolates contain compounds such as protein, date powder, caffeine, L-arginine, ginseng, a complete set of vitamins and minerals that are all in Cellular metabolism is effective(1). Creatine kinase is a key enzyme that stimulates muscle cell metabolism and accelerates the conversion of creatine to phosphate or vice versa. Increased physical activity increases plasma CPK. Crp is also one of the acute phase proteins that is released during infections, tissue injuries caused by intense exercise (2). Most studies on energy supplements have discussed the properties of energy drinks. And have sat down to study, so this research was devoted to this issue. materials and methods: The method of this research was quasi-experimental and applied. The present study included 12 men in ball (football-handball-basketball),(age: 24.2±5 years, height: 173.16±7.3 cm, weight: 69.36 ±5.4). Subjects were asked to avoid nicotine, alcohol and any stimulants during the study days. In this study, a group of subjects was used and the ratio of changes related to each subject in the two stages pre-post test with 4 day intervals. Subjects should arrive at the test site at 8 o\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'clock in the morning and fasting. In the first stage, which was accompanied by the consumption of ordinary chocolate (without any stimulants), then the test was taken from them. The second blood sample was taken immediately after the test and the third blood sample was taken one hour after the test. The second stage was similar to the first stage 4 days later, except that the energy chocolate replaced the regular chocolate. To measure cpk enzyme from Pars Azmon kit and HSCRP from BIOSYSTEM kit using CRONIX 801 -AT autoanalyzer. To describe and analyze the data from central indicators and dispersion, Shapiro-Wilk Test was used to ensure the normal distribution of data. Correlated t-test and independent t-test and repeated measures were used to compare intra-group and inter-group changes at the significant level (p<0/05) was carried out. Conclusion: The aim of this study was to compare the effects of two types of regular and energetic chocolate during a session of anaerobic activity on cpk and crp of ball athletes. Finally, the results of this study showed that the consumption of energy chocolate improves the performance of athletes by delaying the accumulation of cpk, and it can be said that the combination of energetic chocolate compounds, a cascade of physiological events occur in the body. It turns out that this causes less touch factors such as muscle injury and fatigue. However, the mere certainty of the claim that these substances are positive and free of side effects requires further research.
