A critical review of practical tools (applications) of parent education can help parents support their child s optimal development. To conduct a scoping critical review, keywords such as parent , education , and program were searched for primary search and search strategies in databases (such as Google Scholar) and online supply stores (such as GooglePlay). The analysis of 13 parenting applications with different developers showed that, in Iranians, less attention was paid to the diversity of the needs of parents and children in a research-oriented way; at the same time, the use of foreign samples, in addition to the possibility of ecological differences, often requires high costs. Also, to improve and provide complete privacy protection, developers should allow the configuration to be selected from a set of options based on user preferences. The findings of this research can help the design of future parent education applications based on smartphones to guide parents to better understand the presented facts, to be aware of the rights and how to care, by widely disseminating scientific information.
