This study aims to propose a hybrid grey forecasting model, integrating meta-heuristic techniques and drawing inspiration from Von Bertalaffys growth equation, to forecast various types of time series data effectively. This improvement substantially enhances flexibility. This holds great significance for intricate and nonlinear energy systems. In this study, the data of Chinas tight gas production were analysed. A thorough comparison is conducted using three statistical metrics against two existing models.
