We investigate the effect of self gravity on the equilibrium structure of a thick non rotating disk around a central object by the self similar method. We introduce three dimensionless variables Csg, Ct & Ck that indicate the relative importance of self gravity, thermal energy and kinetic energy, respectively. We study the effect of each of them on the structure of disk.
