Synthesis of nanosized silver particles by chemical reduction using preyssler acid as a green polyoxometalate under UV irradiation was performed. In this study, formaldehyde and PVP (polyvinyl-pyrrolidone) was used as a reductant agent and stabilizer, respectively. The produced nanoparticles were characterized by particle size distribution (PSD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD). Also, effect of dose of preyssler on size of prepared nanoparticles was investigated.
