Abstract
One of the principal goals in advanced cardiology is declining myocardial necrosis and therapeutic process after myocardial infarction. This examination was contrived to research the cardioprotective influence of Semelil (ANGIPARS™), a novel herbal medication, on myocardial infarction in male rabbit model. Twenty-five male white rabbits (New Zealand model) were used in this examination. The Rabbits were distributed to five groups: control with vehicle; sham; sham with vehicle; ischemia with vehicle; Angipars 10 mg/kg. Myocardial infarction was performed by complete blockage of Left Anterior Descending Coronary Artery (LAD). The rabbits were cured daily with Angipars 10 mg/kg for 14 days. Animals in each group were managed for assessment of changes myocardial heart for common histopathology (Masson trichrome, Hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) and toluene blue) and transmission Electron microscopy (TEM). There were different results between ischemic and Semelil 10 mg/kg groups (p<0.05). Common histological evaluation of tissue hearts exposed myocardial cells degeneration, scare tissue formation, decrease of myocardial cells and collagen fibers in ischemic group. Electron microscopy displayed crista and membrane devastation of mitochondria and decline of number and density mitochondria. The treatment group revealed to suppress ventricular fibrillation, decline scare tissue and cell necrosis in common histological investigation. Also Electron microscopy exposed high-density incrista, decline in membrane devastation mitochondria, myofibrillar organization and raise in number mitochondria. The outcomes expose that Angipars 10 mg/kg has aprominent protective influence on chronic myocardial ischemia damage and myocardial structural and ultrastructure modifications. This cardio-protective efficiency can be managed by anti-inflammatory and antioxidant abilities.
